Bronner Bros. Tropical Roots Twist Cream Review

I’d been stuck in a hair rut prior to hitting the jackpot when I got a Curlbox subscription. Over the past few months I’ve been introduced to some amazing products! Like most curly haired girls, I’m on the constant quest for the perfect curl. I recently started using the Tropical Roots Twist Cream that was included in the June 2012 box. I’d never heard of the product and was prepared to give it away after the first use. However, when another product was finished, I used it again out of desperation and was shocked to find out how great it is. I guess the first time was a fluke.
Ingredients //
The list of ingredients can be seen in one of the above photos, but the contents of this twist cream are all natural and said to promote hair growth.
Texture //
The texture of this product kinda reminds me of the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie with a little more “uummpphh” to it, lol. There’s something a little extra and different about it that I’ve never seen or felt in any other product that I’ve used.
Smell //
Not only does the packaging make me want a vacation, but the product actually smell like you’re vacationing on a tropical island. I love the way it makes my way smells! The scent is wonderful but not overbearing.
Overall Performance //
My twist outs have been nothing short of consistent since using this product. My hair has become softer, shiner and I can run my fingers through it with ease. I’ve been using this product for a week now since and have yet to experience any build up (just as the package promised). I’ve also noticed that this product elongates my curls unlike any other creamy hair product that I’ve yet. I’ve only been able to achieve this much length with the Eco-Styler Olive Oil Gel. Finally, I love how fast the Tropical Roots Twist Cream works. I can twist my hair using the product, take a shower, and by the time I get out my curls are well defined upon take out of my twists.
